·       Sound is a priority.   A lot of pretty wedding videos out there have poor or non-existent sound.   For me it is just as important as the beautiful images, maybe more so.   Clear sound recording for the vows, the ceremony, the toasts, interview with the wedding party, and music choices all tell the story and capture the emotion of the day.  We achieve this by using multiple wireless microphones during the ceremony for the groom and officiant.   We pay to license the best music for your short film.  We mix multiple sound sources to give you the clearest recordings possible.

·       All you need is love.   It is more than just recording what happens.   We capture the love.  The way he looks at her, the smile on her face when he walks in the room, the way his father says he is proud of his son, the silly things that makes them laugh.   It is a delicate art to capture the relationships of family and loved ones. This is one of our strongest assets.

·       Capture the beauty and joy of the wedding day and the people who attend.  This is what I am thinking when I film and when I am editing the short film of highlights.

·       Redundancy is key.   This is a live event and there is no reshoot.  If a guest moves in front of 1 camera during the kiss we have another to switch to.  If the officiant’s microphone stops working the grooms will still pick up everything that is said.  That is why we use 2 videographers, 3 cameras, and 5 microphones to capture your ceremony.

·       The short film is so much more than a highlight video.   It is easy to set a montage of pretty shots to music but to really tell your love story and capture the beauty and emotion of your wedding day is an art form.  It takes many hours in the editing room and very skilled videographers to achieve this.

·       Be friendly.  Make the wedding party comfortable.  Help them have fun on camera sharing their favorite memories of the couple they love.

·       Be present but invisible.  Several brides have left reviews that mention how we captured everything, were fun to work with, but they hardly noticed we were there.  That is intentional and exactly the way it should be.  Don’t let a production crew steal your spotlight and disturb your romantic moments.

·       Be flexible.   Weddings are often wild and unpredictable.   It makes it exciting but requires a lot of contingency plans.  It rains, the schedule gets discarded, the electricity goes out, unexpected change of venue, dark receptions, and a million other changes happen without warning.  We come prepared to film under any conditions and have back up plans for our back up plans.

·       Lighting is everything.   We bring lights and a variety of lenses so we can film in dark or bright conditions and still make you shine!

·       No one likes a shaky camera.  We use steady cams, sliders, and tripods at all times to give you a smooth cinematic look.
